These terms govern your use of tiffanymchan.com and any services provided by Tiffany May Yan Chan, LLC ("we," "us," or "I"). By using the site or engaging our services, you agree to them.

You may read and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution. You may not reproduce, republish, or adapt it for commercial use without written permission.

Services
We offer one-to-one advisory, working sessions and programs for groups and organizations, program design, and speaking engagements. Details of each engagement, including scope, schedule, and fees, are set out in a separate agreement or proposal.
Where a signed agreement or proposal exists, its terms take precedence over these terms for that engagement.
Booking and payment
Sessions are booked through Acuity Scheduling. Payments are processed through Stripe, and by paying you agree to Stripe's terms. You may pay by card at booking or by invoice. Invoices must be paid in full before the session. Someone booking on your behalf, such as an assistant, accepts these terms for you.
Fees are due in advance of each session, or as set out in your agreement. Fees are quoted in US dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes.
Gift sessions
A gifted session is subject to these terms, which the recipient accepts when booking. Gift sessions are valid for 12 months from purchase and are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another person before they are booked.
Cancellation and rescheduling
If you cancel with at least 7 days' notice, your fee is refunded in full. If you cancel with between 48 hours' and 7 days' notice, your session may be rescheduled once within 90 days, but the fee is not refunded. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed, are charged in full.
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time, including when you join late. If we need to reschedule, we will offer a new time promptly, or a full refund if no time works for you.
For multi-month engagements, cancellation terms are set out in your agreement.
Confidentiality
What you share in the course of our work is confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties, except where required by law, where there is a risk of serious harm, or where you have given permission. This includes whether you are a client. We are glad to sign a non-disclosure agreement on request.
Recording
We do not record sessions. You may record a session through Zoom for your own personal use. Any recording you make is your responsibility to store securely, and it may not be published or shared publicly.
Nature of the work
Our services are advisory in nature. They are not psychotherapy, medical care, financial advice, or legal advice, and they are not a substitute for any of those. You remain responsible for your own decisions and their outcomes.
We do not guarantee specific results. What you gain from the work depends on many factors, including your own participation. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to attend sessions as scheduled, and to treat the work and anyone else involved in it with respect. We reserve the right to end an engagement where these expectations are not met, or where the work is no longer a good fit. In that event, fees for sessions not yet delivered will be refunded.
Intellectual property in the work
Materials we provide during an engagement, including frameworks, exercises, and written documents, remain our intellectual property and are licensed to you for your own use. They may not be reproduced, taught, or distributed without written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiffany May Yan Chan, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the engagement giving rise to the claim.
