medium

Tiffany May Yan Chan is a writer, speaker, and advisor who shows leaders how love, as a form of intelligence, reshapes power and the systems they build.

Pronunciation: Tiffany May Yun Chan ("Yan" rhymes with "sun")

Tiffany May Yan Chan is a writer, speaker, and advisor on love, power, and conscious systemic leadership. Her work names what leadership needs next: love as a form of intelligence, and power used in service of life.

Chan's early education was in global power. She began her career after 9/11 at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, earned an MBA at Babson College, and served as a Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum, where she built the Forum's philanthropic foundations portfolio. Those years put her in the rooms where global priorities were set, and left her clear on what was missing.

Today she advises founders, CEOs, board members, and heads of foundations, and works with leadership teams and communities across business, government, and civil society. She has led sessions for Google's Leadership Faculty and the World Economic Forum's alumni community, guided a grounding practice for attendees of COP29, and is a member of the House of Pioneers working group on systemic leadership and evolving consciousness.

Tiffany May Yan Chan is a writer, speaker, and advisor on love, power, and conscious systemic leadership. Her work names what leadership needs next, and what it will take to build it.

Chan's early education was in global power. She began her career after 9/11 at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, earned an MBA at Babson College, and became a Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum, where she built the Forum's philanthropic foundations portfolio. Those years put her in the rooms where global priorities were set.

For much of that time, she led from her mind and ran on control. A personal turning point showed her how deeply connected people and the world they build are, and she spent years studying the world's wisdom traditions and the quantum field to understand what she'd seen. Both led her to the same conclusion: love is the intelligence leadership has been missing.

From there came her central observation: the consciousness of leaders becomes the systems they build. Across every sector she had worked in, she saw the same pattern. Leaders understood consciousness as a concept but hadn't yet learned to live it, so they kept building from the old way of being. Her work moves leaders from knowing to embodying, and from there into how they use power and what they create.

Today she advises founders, CEOs, board members, heads of foundations, and senior government leaders, and works with leadership teams and communities across business, government, and civil society. She has led sessions for Google's Leadership Faculty and the World Economic Forum's alumni community, guided a grounding practice for attendees of COP29, and is a member of the House of Pioneers working group on systemic leadership and evolving consciousness.

She writes the publication Love Power Leadership and is writing her first book.

SPEAKING TOPICS

The Intuitive Edge: When AI does the analysis, intuition is what sets leaders apart. How to develop it as a real capacity rather than a hunch.

Innovating or Iterating?: Most of what we call innovation is a better version of what already exists. How smart teams break the pattern and build what's actually new.

Love Is Not a Soft Skill: Love is the intelligence most leaders were never taught to use. What changes when they start: how they see, decide, and hold power.

Power Without the Title: Titles and capital give you positional power. What lasts is the influence people choose to follow, and how to build it.
